While media members chuckled, Jazz PR director Jonathan Rinehart softly said "Salt Lake" to Big Al.

"Salt Lake. I'm sorry," a slightly embarrassed but smiling Jefferson said. "See. That's why I keep you around."

I could MAYBE excuse a mistake like that in his first year, but how long has he played in the great city of Utah?

Salt Lake City essentially is the city of Utah, so I don't think it's an issue.

Both Karl Malone and Kris Humphries referred to "Utah" as a "city" after they were drafted by the Jazz. Dirk called SLC a "bad city" during the 2001 Playoffs.
