Doing that research is what led me to make my initial claim. It boils down to 2 reasons, bad investments or overspending.
Yes he has made $4 million over two years, puts him in the top tax bracket shipping 40% to the government. His salary last year was $2.1m, and if that was his only income, then he wound up with around $1.26m heading into his bank account. So yes, he spent 9-10% of his income on a car, not really a big deal, I fully agree with you. But I think the precedent of luxurious living at this stage in his life is an extremely dangerous indicator.
