No, I absolutely believe that athletes should practice fiscal responsibility. The problem here is you are extrapolating that Alec is incapable of saving money because of one purchase, which as you have already calculated is a 100% reasonable one given his income bracket.

I understand what you're saying, but it's really unfair to claim that because many former NBA players are broke, all of them who spend any of the money that they make will also be broke. That's a pretty big logical fallacy and if you can't see that I don't really know what else to say.
 
And what is wrong with going broke? If they want to live large for that moment, then that is their choice. If they weren't complete ******** during their career, they can probably get a job coaching at some kind of level, or doing some kind of basketball related work somewhere.
 
I'm I the only one who doesn't care what Burks does with his money?

It's not like he is using his money to hurt anyone, except maybe for that poor Audi with a bad looking paint job.

I never understood why people put others on ignore. Can I tell if someone has me on ignore? That way I can talk **** about them with impunity.
 
Why the hell does anybody care? None of you care what kind of an ugly *** car I drive. He bought the car with his money. He is a big boy. And if he goes broke 2-3 years down the road, well then that is his issue to deal with.

By the way, the answer is mini-van. I drive a damn mini van. And I will probably be broke in a few years too...but that is because of all the kids that fill up that mini van. Man, they are expensive. :)
