trust me that car wasn't paid for with his first paycheck lmao ... got some serious laughs out of this thread ... for a decent loto pick player Alec is thrifty! ... as for the matte black ... its a style prefrence some may like it others will....its better then somthing ordinary. and that car is going to last a heck of a long time it's a decent investment

So the guy will make around 10 million for his first 4 years in the league and people are criticizing him for spending close to 100k on a car? Think of it this way let's say Joe Schmo makes 50k a year and finances a new Camry for 6 years and his monthly payment is $350. He'll make $4,200 in payments that first year which will be roughly 8.5% of his total income. Alec will average about 2.5 mil per year on his rookie deal and just to buy the car outright is only 4% of his income. Not considering taxes here, but both percentages would adjust accordingly.
It's an Audi, not a Ferrari. It's for him, not his groupies. I think he'll be just fine. I know a CEO who won't hire sales people unless they drive expensive cars. He want's them to have expensive tastes so they work hard and sell a ton. I like the Audi move... confident, performance, but still in control. Gordon's Honda on the other hand....

Given his pay check it wont be a problem even if Audi has the same problem I've heard the matte black can have. Meaning in Utah with it's harsh winters you have to keep it clean and polished as the conditions can ruin the paint easier.
Yes that means I was thinking of getting a car that color until I realized I'm in my 30's and maybe I shouldn't. I instead traded in my walker (complete with tennis balls) and decided to go with a motorized scooter with blinkers that I can leave on.

Back to topic... Everyone has their own taste in cars.
For me, that car is awesome without the paint and details but he made it even better. Flat black is sick and that car is nice, sporty, luxury, all in one.
I almost bought a flat black A4 but instead got my TL a few months back.
