Do you believe that one in hand is better than two in the bush? If you do, you take Matthews. Sure, Burks could be great, but that just doesn't happen that often, and Wes would bring such great things to the dynamic. He's not elite at anything and his physical profile isn't great, BUT he just makes good plays in a pretty diverse way and Burks is almost the inverse.

It might be kind of fun to watch them fight for minutes. Maybe it forces Burks to become a viable PG option??? A girl can dream. I like them both.

I love the idea of players that simply will themselves into the league and onto the court. Millsap, Matthews, and Hayward in varying ways are those kinds of players.

100% agree. And I wonder what Burks will become. For several years people on this board thought Ronnie B was going to become something great for the same reasons people love Burks. Obviously Burks doesn't have the funky shooting form but the similarities are striking up to and including the ongoing belief we could have a big strong PG.

I'm not black.. but I think they look pretty similar..

If there is someone who's black and is reading this - could you tell me whether I'm on the right track?

Thanks in advance...

You are Probably being serious, but this made me laugh!!!

This one is hard to answer. Right now, Wes. Any time after next year Alec. I think Burks is going to be a very good player

Wes isn't even in Burks' league. Wes has had a nice April, but he's a fringe starter. Burks hit the rookie wall, but he's going to be a bona fide starter in the league. He looks like a young Ellis, but Ty won't let him go Full Monta.

Unfortunately my guts tells me Burks won't develop much and will have trouble being a team guy per se. In no way am I saying he's selfish. I just think he'll struggle to find his way without being the guy who dominates the ball like he did in college and like he often does here.

Fortunately for us, I thought Hayward was an awful pick, the '99 Rams were going to be ****ty like they were virtually every season no matter how great they looked in the pre-season, and that Nightwatch with Ewan McGregor and Nick Nolte looked amazing and would be great.
