LeBron James (Heat)
Serge Ibaka (Thunder)
Dwight Howard (Magic)
Chris Paul (Clippers)
Tony Allen (Grizzlies)

Kevin Garnett (Celtics)
Luol Deng (Bulls)
Tyson Chandler (Knicks)
Rajon Rondo (Celtics)
Kobe Bryant (Lakers)

Kobe Bryant should not have been on the all defensive team last year, let alone this year--joke! Also, Carlos Boozer got 1 point, and Favors got 0. I also think Chris Paul is way overrated as a defensive player. It's not entirely opinion as advanced stats support this.

Do they have to play a specific number of minutes to be in consideration? Perhaps Favors small sample size is why he got no love.

The All-Defensive team is usually a joke. It's based on steals and blocks, or reputation. I wonder if they will ever use advanced statistics when deciding these things?

I tried to post about this earlier. I think we need more mods if posts have to be reviewed. One thing of note is that Andre Iguodala got more points in the voting than Kobe, so I'm wondering if he got hosed by getting some votes as a forward and some as a guard. And as for advanced statistics? I don't think the coaches care enough to look at more common stats.

That really does crack me up that Boozer got a vote. Maybe Coach Corbin gave him that second-team vote as a joke?
