First off, I know i could just look this stuff up but I feel that the site has not had much traffic lately and wanted to start a discussion so there.
Question #1. How are the all stars chosen? Still fans for starters and then coaches choose reserves?
Question #2. They used to select a certain # of point guards, shooting guards, small forwards and centers. How do they do that now? My co-worker says that they take a certain number of guards (any combination of point or shooting guards), a certain amount of forwards (power or small), and a certain number of centers. How many of each?
So assuming its guards, forwards, centers.... Who would be hills competition? Westbrook, lillard, curry, harden, klay?, kemba?, cp3... who else?
Hayward would be up against kahwi, Klay? (not sure what position he plays), durant, Draymond?, griffin, aldrige, wiggins... who else?
Gobert would be up against cousins, jordan, the brow (or is he a forward?), gasol, kat,..... who else?
How much of a chance do our guys have? Seems like with hayward playing his best ball of his career and the guys he is competing against i think he has the best chance but to be honest it looks to me like the jazz get snubbed again despite having three dudes who seem deserving.
Would they all have a better chance in the east? Is the east still a lot weaker than the west?
