I'm just curious who Jazzfanz will be voting for. There is a lot of political talk by a minority of posters. This is an anonymous poll, so feel free to vote and not be criticized for your choice. Please do not vote if you are not eligible to vote in the election.

I’m out of town. Didn’t know I was going to be out this long and now i will not be able to vote at all.

This poll is RIGGED! THE DEEP STATE EXTREME LEFT SOCIALIST MARXIST COMMUNIST PEDOPHILE SATANIST DEMOCRATS are committing POLL FRAUD BIGGER THAN ANY OTHER POLL IN HISTORY! IF THIS ISN'T FIXED WE WONT EVEN HAVE JAZZFANZ anymore!

Florida is set to be a battleground, but not on vote day. Florida is safely in Trump's column.

The fight for Florida will be in the lawsuits set to be filed immediately after the election. For those that don't know, the Census undercounted Florida and Texas. The US Census Bureau has already officially confirmed the error.

The undercounts were significant enough that it cost Florida two seats in the House, and it cost Texas one seat in the House. Those three lost seats mean Florida and Texas have a combined three fewer electoral votes than they should have. Florida's and Texas' three stolen electoral vote are currently held by Minnesota, Rhode Island, and Colorado. That represents a six vote swing to Trump, and there will be lawsuits filed to take rightful possession of those misallocated electoral votes.

Anyone voting independent or not voting can rest assured it's actually a vote for Trump.

I HATE that argument, because it implies that the default is a vote for Kamala. A Trump supporter would say that a 3rd party vote is a vote for Kamala.
Valid point. And it's true, prima facie. However, when the stakes are this high, and we already have a candidate who has made it clear he has no problem disregarding the rule of law and using force to try to invalidate the voting populace, any vote that doesn't have a realistic chance of keeping him out of office, is for all intents and purposes a vote that can be used illicitly to give him the office. If the margin of victory isn't sufficiently high, it could lead to bloodshed again. So I would argue in this case it is valid to consider a vote for anyone other than Harris as a vote for Trump.

Harris

Duh

I’m not an insecure white boy who is angry at women.

I actually read non-fiction and know where nationalism leads us. I don’t want the most unfit candidate in history to win another four years. None of you would hire Trump to work In Your businesses. Why should we then give him the keys to the White House?

I should also add, I like Harris. She seems capable. She’s a moderate Democrat. And she’ll provide us with stable leadership. I like America. I don’t want any drastic changes. And she’ll give us four more years of liberal judges. We desperately need balance. Hopefully Thomas and Alito will be replaced soon.

I’m literally not voting because I’m out of state. But it’s not helping Trump in Florida since it’s already his state.
Also a valid point. However I often wonder how many people don't vote because they already know who will win in their state and what difference it might make if they vote anyway.

I'd love to see an amendment that allocated electors in each state based on the proportion of the popular vote. Instead of winner takes all.

I wonder what percentage of votes do not matter at all based on the electoral college? Both excess votes for the winner and all votes for the loser don't matter. So at least 49.9% of votes in the U.S. Presidential election are meaningless.

Yep.
I think there are 2 states that already do it this way.
Would encourage more people to vote though..... Which apparently is a negative thing.

If you're talking to a person whose goal, or at least preference, is to keep Trump out of office (which I personally think is the politically, logically, and morally correct stance), then it makes sense. But unless that is a priority of theirs, you're not going to get anything out of it except to piss them off.

It should be a priority if all warm blooded American voters to keep the most unfit and vulgar candidate in history from the White House.

And yet here we ****ing are.
Millions of Americans are bored to death of our prosperous democracy. There’s no real struggle anymore so they’re struggling with democracy, modernity, multiculturalism, and the monotony of 21st century living.

Not the purpose of this thread, but FWIW I voted 3rd party, like I've done for the past 3 presidential elections. For me it is due to not being happy with our two party system and I feel like the best way I can voice that displeasure is by increasing the number of 3rd party votes. I have not lived in a state during a presidential election where the nomination from my state has ever been in doubt, so I'm comfortable with my decision.

I take the state and local elections much more seriously. Unfortunately here in Indiana we really have to work to find out information about the candidates. In other places I've lived they send you packets of information that I would use as a starting point to research candidates and issues.

I will join you in this endeavor in the next election that doesn't have the most immoral, corrupt, scandalous, dishonest candidate in history.
Until then, nevertrump.

Spot on. I generally feel like the standard major-party candidates are mostly the same, with a bent one way or the other, and almost never are they my first choice. And in most years I feel it is relatively harmless who is selected. This year is different. We have one openly advocating for usurping the government in the name of dictatorship and fascism and this cannot be allowed. Hence, this year there is one correct choice. Not much debate to be had there, honestly.
