Another car bomb killed 34 in Turkey (wounding 125)

I am so sorry. I cannot imagine how frightening this must be. Why do people want to hurt others like this? I will never understand. My thoughts are with you all at this scary time and I hope you and all your loved ones stay safe, and I hope these terrible events stop now.

Attack in Brussels. 34 dead so far in explosions at the Brussels airport and subways. Another 200ish wounded.

It has gotten to the point where I expect news of an attack everyday.

And it's only going to get worse I'm afraid. There are many sleeping cells in Europe now waiting to be given the green light. The "Alliance of Civilizations" as some European leaders had advocated is not really working is it?

Funny thing is this was the concept Obama vocalized in his speech about this last attack. We have to unite to fight this. How do you fight an enemy that you cannot spot? Like there is no actual country to kill it. It can be anywhere, it can be about to do anything. And it feasts on the level of your fear, unease, your tendency to give up all hope on your government, the social codes and your security. You have to unite and keep living your life. You have to fight every time it emerges and then get back to your life. Like an auto-control mechanism. But common folk getting there is certainly is a big deal.
