What's new

Another religious topic......

What I've learned from this thread:
There are different types of Muslims (TBS and dalamon) just like there are different types of Mormons (beantown and Trout and colton). Who would have ever thunk that?

But people do not want to see people as individuals. People only want to see people as groups. Mormon, Muslim, American, Russian, Black, Hispanic, Democrat, Libertarian,...

Stop speaking such nonsense- logic has no place in this neck of the woods.

The poor will look for any venue to share the belief that they are victims, be it religion, media, or commiserating with themselves. When you don't have much, and a country has a history of racial discrimination, it doesn't take much to shape that. Hell, Christians whine about how they're oppressed and they're a majority.

You type as though black churches aren't Christian.

I apologize I guess I was misinformed on this one or I just can't find it. Hey man I think the Bible is the word of god just like Christians. Even Christians state that the Bible in today's form is not the same bible that was originally released. The only difference is that I believe Muhammad (PBUH) released the Qur'an which fixed some of the things in the Bible that were wrong or poorly expressed(For example google search "Dead Sea Scrolls").

If you think the Bible is the word of God, then how can you not think that Jesus is Christ? Obviously it states that in the Bible. And if the Bible is the word of God, then how could Muhammad fix things, would that mean that God was wrong? You're starting to say some very contradictory things here buddy.

He's going to tell you that the Bible has been changed by men and is no longer the true word of God.

Now wait just a damn minute. I've been going to church for a loooong time, but I don't recall ever hearing that Gordon Hayward wrote the Bible.
