Anti-vaccination movement probably contributing to re-emergence of disease

The response I heard is that improved sanitation, access to clean food and water, and other hygiene related innovations were the culprits. Which is ironic, since those who bitch about vaccines tend to be the same people who complain about fluoride toothpaste, anti-bacterial soap, and other obviously useful innovations.

Haha you're a funny guy.
Are you actually aware that fluoride is a chemical that is left over from metal smelting processes?
And are you also aware that Hitler fluoridated the water in his concentration camps, in order to make prisoners more cooperative?

So I guessed your random opinions with 100% accuracy despite the fact that I know nothing about you. You got to be impressed.

Vaccinations are part of a global conspiracy by the illuminati and trilateralists. These seemingly well-meaning injections actually inlcude particles of cs05 .. a brain-altering drug that makes one susceptible to hypnotic-like cues, while having no obvious side-effects. One day, you fools that are injecting your children, will see them rise against this country and anyone that gets in the way of 'them.'

Really? I thought the flu vaccines were just supposed to stunt fertility and build in susceptibility to the next wave of flu that's fomenting in the midwest. What you're describing sounds more like the effects of fluoride.

You shouldn't start threads on complex topics if you're just going to make obtuse, derisive and uninformed statements.

There is nothing complex about it. The combined knowledge of the medical and scientific community well outweighs an opinion on African diseased monkeys. But judging from our past exchanges, I don't at all expect you to understand.

If vaccines are so bad and don't work, what is your theory as to why so many diseases have virtually disappeared? And why is the resurgence of these diseases coinciding with the anti-vaccine movement?

Improved sanitation, air quality and social conditions are factors sociologists typically correlate with improved life expectancy and health in the general population. As for individual cases and diseases there could be a number of causes, of which vaccination (or lack thereof) may or may not even be relevant.

Okay, what was the comparison of opinion to 'the combined knowledge of the medical and scientific community?'
