What's new

Any interest in watching old Jazz playoff games to subside basketball withdrawals?

Is it their rights or those of NBC, ESPN, etc.?
I think they're the NBA's. Out of commercial break that same guy says "Any rebroadcast, reproduction or other use of pictures and accounts of this game without the express written consent of the National Basketball Association is prohibited" while we watch Kevin Durant dunk in slow-motion .

Fortunately, as long as it's not the Palace Brawl or the Nuggetts/Knicks fight, the NBA (unlike the NFL and MLB) doesn't care and won't take down fully posted NBA games or clips.

I've got all the Jazz playoff games from 08 to 10 (still looking for 07), and was thinking maybe uploading a quarter a week to try to keep myself entertained during the lockout.
A quarter a week? Seriously? What is this, the old Batman drama?
Haha, well keep in mind uploading longer clips on youtube can be a lengthy process.

yes, please! the summer is long anyways and the lockout is already making it feel longer. There are only so many games on nbatv of the jazz losing that one can handle.

I was working on quarter 1 game 1 round 1 2010, but ran into some issues. Only have the last 4 minutes in HD and was trying to find a suitible substitute for the first 8 minutes. I should have it up later today.

If anyone's interested, over the past few nights I uploaded Game 4 of the 1999 Playoffs against the Kings.

1st-quarter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXUtxUQ4LAw

I'll start in on the 2007 Playoffs this weekend, was just trying to figure out how long a full game would take. Looking at 1, maybe 2 quarters/day if I let it go overnight.

Was thinking about starting with Game 7 vs Houston and then going through most of the G.S. series...if anyone has any suggestions feel free to let me know.

Please upload Giricek's buzzer beater from Game 4 against Houston! There is no good youtube copy!

Would love to see some highlights of the spurs series in 97 i believe, and games one and two of the lakers sweep a year later.

Back during the '99 lockout, KJZZ would air a classic Jazz game every week. Anyone remember watching those? Good times.

I used to watch those classic Jazz games with my grandma. She didn't know they were old games, and I didn't feel like breaking it to her that we were in a lockout.
