You want him shooting jumpers? That’s stupid. You want him to play ogre ball? That **** has been dying for more than a decade for a reason, and unless you know of a way to change the fundamental composition of his musculoskeletal system, he is just not a dude that moves people around due to his very high center of gravity.

He simply does what he can, which is a ****ing lot. And this idea that he is incapable of catching a pass is straight garbage.

I say this knowing I’m the dude that needs to hear this the most: get a grip.

I'm asking him to catch a pass and make a shot outside of 2 feet. Develop his own signature go-to move like a Kareem sky hook. He would be deadly but he refuses to do anything on the offensive side other than 3 things: set screens, dunk, and not catch passes ( and then cries cause he doesn't get the ball).

It’s a sliding scale! That’s 110 compared to Rudy that decides to take the night off if he isn’t getting enough dishes. Donny shows up every single night which is more than I can say for Rudy.

Yeah he’s rolling over to try and bust out the casket so that he can watch how good we are the next few years. Larry would be proud they going for it.

But he’s doing something at such an elite level that it’s a guy you’d want out there for 48 minutes, of it we’re possible.

We’re over the cap no matter how you slice it. Nothing you’re moving Rudy out for is going to be better. You’ll just clog up the roster with space-occupying players who are good enough to justify having them in the rotation and sucking up minutes, but not dynamic enough to push you farther.

The answer isn’t to supermax Rudy. You should be able to get him for less. But when it comes down to it, you do what you have to do. It’s like buying a really fancy car, and being okay with the price, but then losing it when you’re having to pay for upkeep and keeping it running smoothly, and thinking that because you just unloaded a bunch of money on the car, that you can’t afford to keep it pristine.

I have to admit that I view this as a good argument and that it has made an impression on me.
