It's a pretty curious place.

Oh, and google Astana. I find it curious, but am also curious what some of your takes are on this place that pretty much was nothing, then changed real fast.

Live 400 kms from astana. All money from all of the parts of country is going there. Sad to say. Great modern city, but everything build without "hart and soul"

That is a surprising amount of masonic symbology.

The masons borrowed a lot of it from ancient religions, even from christianity to a point. So it isn't weird to see the symbols pop up a lot. However the compass and the square are fairly recent modifications to other symbols, and fairly specific, so that is interesting.
