I should say, we care enough to make memes. I wasn't calling you unhinged unless you are yelling on TikTok about Chinese spy balloons. Weird to attribute that to yourself. I don't think anybody here expressed any concern. @fishonjazz is a litmus test for what a normal IRL human thinks and he didn't care at all.

Apparently, I was wrong here. The prior balloons seems to have been sent over narrow sections of the country, like Florida.

Imagine the outrage from Fox News if Biden had ordered these to have been shot down over the country and they landed on someone or damaged their property?

It’s just weird how anti American many on the right are just because they feel a need to be in opposition to all things left.

By all means, this was a failure by China. We detected their balloon, we jammed its signal, we shot it down, and now we captured it. Had America sent a balloon to China and the Chinese had shot it down and captured it, Fox News would be blasting Biden over an international embarrassment.

Instead, we should be celebrating our country and military for this incident. We won (we captured the balloon without hurting anyone) and the Chinese look foolish. I’m glad our country did this. Thank you armed forces! Thanks President Biden for the leadership!

In my defense I was just happy for another excuse to post 99 Red Balloons, as I have probably done at least 3 other times on JF.

So for kicks I'll toss another one of my favorites in this genre out there



I'll call the genre "cold war pop"
