IMO it goes:

1) Wroten
2) Marshall
3) Teague
4) Kabongo

I think Tony Wroten is easily underrated and has the potential to be a superstar PG in the NBA.

1. Marshall
Bunch of out-of-control young guns that haven't learned yet to be a PG.

... and Marshall leaves many reasons for concern as well.

I've been saying for 12 months that our PG of the future has to be either Harris, or gotten out of FA .. as the following years class of PG's currently look even weaker than this one.

The other thread was about all prospects since point guard is our most glaring need since no one is capable of giving this offense. I think this thread is justified.

As for Marshall, he lacks athleticism and speed. He may be an excellent passer but I'd rather have a dual threat like Worten. He has all the potential in the world

Not many elite level PGs in the college ranks, or at least none that have emerged. Marshall is limited and the rest of the guys are more along the lines of russel westbrook.

I want Ty Lawson.

Finally looked at Wroten's stats. The guy averages far more TO's per game than he does assist. lol

Well that's definitely not good. I'll admit, I don't know as much as guys like PKM about college prospects but I really like Marshall's passing ability. I'm wondering what the concern is.. that he won't be able to score?

There aren't many PG's in the NBA like him, or have been ever in the history of the NBA (off the top of my head) that have succeeded. Most either can't shoot but can finish really well, or can shoot but can't finish really well. Marshall sucks at both. There is still hope that he can develop a spot up shooting game. I would take him at the tail end of the lottery.

Marshall = Earl Watson 2.0

Wroton scored 70 in a pro-am game against NBA players. He has the passing ability too. I bet if the team didnt rely on Ross and Wroten to score, he would be putting upbetter assist numbers.

He scored a ton of points in a game where everyone is expected to score a ton of points. Woot woot.

I'll add an undersized sleeper into the mix. Pierre Jackson from Baylor. A JUCO transfer who is a lights out shooter and good passer, the problem is he is only 5'10.

4.4 assist per game in 25 minutes.

No idea when this guy comes out, or where he is projected to get drafted when he does, but he would gives us a lightning quick PG who can shoot and pass.

Is it pronounced ROTTEN or ROTE-UN? [Wroten]

I too am underwhelmed by the upcoming class of PG's, at least from what I have seen of them and stats.

Marshall = Earl Watson 2.0.

How so? Isn't Marshall like 6-4? And Earl averaged 4.7 assists at UCLA, highest was 5.9 in 1990-2000. Marshall to me seems like he has an incredible feel for the game. Like something that cannot be taught. But again, I don't know as much about him as others on here

He is unattainable. We need to set our sights on Collison or Augustine. Bot young and love to run. Both also have very good range.

Collison could be a long-term opinion but I'm not huge on Augustine. Seems like the Jazz missed out on dealing with the Pacers after the David West signing
