Brexit

Take that globalists, I hope other countries follow suit and the EU breaks into pieces. The EU never should have happened in the 1st place. F*** globalization.

For what it's worth, this article pretty well sums up many of my feelings regarding the Brexit. David Cameron made a huge miscalculation, and it has cost him his job, earned him history's ridicule, and put his nation's economy in peril. This was as big of a policy blunder as the Iraq war was for the US. (And arguably, the result of the referendum was the result of the ripple effects of Bush's destabilization of the Middle East, which contributed to the current refugee crisis, which contributed to the rise of nativist sentiment in the UK. It's the gift that keeps on giving.)

Lol Who is surprised to see a lib trying to Devine the future? Where do you store your scrying mirror jimmy eat jazz?

He probably made it closer than it would have been?
So you think that the pre-election polling was even farther off than it turned out to be? If you had to describe his delivery/message in one adjective, what would it be? Mine would be "condescending."

Matter of fact, but with a clear agenda.

A lot had to do with trade, and making it easier for products made in one country to be sold in another by ensuring that products meet uniform standards. That's just one example.

And some of the complaints have to do with requirements that are felt to be ridiculous.

(Edit: this is in response to a question fish raised much earlier. I'd pretty much typed it out but forgot to post!)

So you're saying that liberals, more than conservatives, actually try to forecast the implications of their policy decisions down the road?

Thank you for the compliment.

I'm not sure you realize that the implications of your presumed insult actually turn back on you. But then, since, apparently according to you, conservatives don't think about the implications of what they do, I guess this shouldn't be surprising.
