"It's official. The Sacramento Kings have bought out Aaron Brooks, sources close to the point guard confirm."

The Utah Jazz may also consider Aaron Brooks. As you can see, there are plenty of teams that need a point guard. Brooks will have options.

If the Jazz waive Raja, this would open up a spot for Brooks. I could almost see the Jazz doing this.

Would it be worth it or not though?

Well its official. Jazz will not pick up Aaron Brooks. Too many people in this forum like the idea. Jazz dont do what we like.

I thought the Jazz could've swung a deal at the trade deadline for Brooks, Thompson and one of the awful wing contracts for Al, Watson & Bell. Instead Houston stole Robinson, took back the best of the three bad contracts and is now going to get Brooks for nothing.

Sigh.

PS we need a merger on these threads. Probably ought to move it to NBA forum at the same time, 'cause the Jazz aren't getting in on this action.

Wow, that was fast. Almost like the Kings, Rockets and Brooks had it all worked out ahead of time.

So let me get this straight: At the trade deadline two years ago, the Rockets traded Aaron Brooks to the Suns for Goran Dragic and a draft pick. Now, just over two years later, we'll see Brooks back with the Rockets and Dragic back with the Suns. Weird.
