What's new

Burke shooting the most and poorly, whats changed

Maybe it is good for a point guard.
Those numbers just don't seem that good to me.

Burks is considered by many to be a poor shooter and he was about there from 3 and better from the field.

Maybe Burks is just a better shooter than he gets credit for and those are in fact good numbers

Christ, can something not be about Burks?

Ha ha always leave override open. I throw in some second round picks for good measure.
Second rounders?
Why not throw in two firsts and get LeBron instead? Cleveland has already lost one game. Cleary LBJ is just hype. Cavs probably go for the trade so they can rebuild quickly.

short answer: no

otherwise: **** no

About how I feel.
Trey looks a little better than last year so far, which still is not very good, but I mostly just want him to focus more on setting up his teammates

Very cool stats

Leading the team in shots is not ideal imo.

Edit: unless he is making them with a good shooting percentage

This may be true (probably is) but I wonder if snyder wants his players to make the great looks they get
Nothing about #10 there

Last seasons bad shooting combined with this year has me concerned.

I don't like his shot either. Too flat.
I think hood has the best shooting mechanics in the team (maybe in the whole league)

As for mechanics, I just think hood has better form and mechanics on his shot.

As for hoods struggles, I will criticize him plenty if he is still shooting poorly at the end of the year. (Maybe not as much criticism as trey though since he was picked at 21 vs trey at 9..... probably not fair but it is what it is)

Also one is a starter playing 30+ minutes per game..... the other is the 4th best bench player and not playing much.

Maybe that's not fair to trey either but I care less when a bench player who doesn't play as much struggles than a starter logging big minutes

That's cool

Nothing about AB in any of these posts either. And this is just one thread.
Not all my post are about burks.
Question is, do you ever not act like dicks to people?

Gotta do some more reading then.

Lmfao. A poor shooter? Says who? Maybe a poor shooter from three seeing as he's among the bottom rungs for SGs in terms of 3-point makes. Maybe a poor free-throw shooter.

Don't recall ANYONE attacking Alec's FG%, like ever.

Besides, why are we even talking about Alec?

Not to mention the fact that Alec plays a DIFFERENT position than Burke.

Kinda like me saying "oh, Alec shoots 45%? Ya, well, Evans shot 60% once. So I guess I'm not that impressed."

You have never heard someone say Alec needs to work on his shooting? Interesting.

As for 42% and 36% being good number for point guards, like I said I didn't know that it was good. Im probably wrong. I will take your word for it

Oh, I was talking about ball handling players that play on the wing. (also alec burks has played more point guard than evans has played shooting guard but whatever, I will take your word for it that 42% and 36% percent are good shooting percentages.)

unanswered.

lol

based on something called player improvement.

I know, it's nearly impossible to imagine players improving after their rookie NBA year under head coach Ty Corbin-- but you gotta try to work with me here.

Didn't realize that was set in stone, my bad.
