Call and Complain

Maybe attendance was poor because, IDK the Hornets suck?

I think if the youth were getting the playing time that most of us want, then the arena would have had alot more people in it last night..... and im humble enough to admit that i might be entirely wrong about that, but it is my opinion...... If you go to a game and look around at what jerseys are being worn you see mostly favors and hayward jerseys and quite a few kanter ones... and like i said in the game thread, when i was at the game last night i saw more burks jerseys than i have ever seen before.
I have never seen a marvin, demarre, tinsley, watson, or foye jersey..... There are still alot millsap jerseys. Hardly any jefferson jerseys.
I think that is a decent indicator of who the fanz are paying to see and since the guys the fans dont like are getting all the minutes maybe that is why attendance is down.

I went to the game on monday against the rockets and left incredibly pissed. I wanted to go to the Hornets game, tickets were cheaper since the hornets do suck...but I didn't go because of how the Jazz played monday. I couldn't justify spending money to support a team that just got owned at home. If the Jazz would've won or at least played good I would've gone to the game. And I try to go to games as often as I can, been to at least 12 this year

I go to see a good game, but I also try to go to games I think they'll win. DH got me (expensive) tickets for Christmas, for the Dec. 26th debacle against Golden State (I think...if I remember right that was the team). Merry freakin' Christmas huh? We left mad. I can't even imagine how mad we'd have been at the Houston game. We were pretty miffed after GS owned us at home. As bad as that was, Houston was a lot worse.

I think a lot of people who would have gone last night didn't go because of that game. I have no desire to pay good money right now to go watch them lose or give a half-a** effort to squeak out a win. I hope the FO isn't taking loyal Jazz fans for granted, because we can only take so much. Their attitude is sure to come back and bite them in the big fat hiney.

There is no need to do that. No matter what they say they keep tabs on this site.
They know what's going on. They see the empty seats in the arena. Will they change, who knows, but they know how we feel.

This is true. The Jazz know what is going on and rally from the JazzHaterzz web site will not be relevant. Also with Favors showing as much as he has and with Kanter stuck to the bench it is clear to me that the Jazz are playing for really just one thing at the moment: facilitating best trade for AJ or Millsap. Hearing Randy on the radio the other day helped confirm this position. Also, with Al and Paul knowing the realities of KOCLindsey's activities, it is not helping the team in general either.

It is simply a matter if there is enough value out there being offered, and we probably won't know that until closer to the trade deadline.

So if this is true then really, you all should be THANKING the Jazz Org for maximizing the value of Big Al because it will be better for the team in the long run. I suggest we rally by calling and thanking the org - phone numbers have been posted above.

sure.. the jazz are playing millsap and big al so much for a trade..... thats probably why corbin played them so much last year too... and why corbin played bell, cj miles, and josh howard so much. Those trades worked out great.
The jazz probably play watson so much because there is a big time watson trade coming too.... this is also the reason randy foye plays so much.

Still seems to me like the main reason for the distribution of minutes is player experience/age.

Also, if the jazz are showcasing millsap and jeffy but the rest of the league is not giving us good enough offers, then maybe we should play kanter and favors more and see what kind of offers we get for them.
Plus, dont you think that the other teams in the league have seen big al and millsap for like the last 8 years and know what they can do? What exactly are we showing the rest of the league about millsap and jeffy by playing them so much right now? Do you think the rest of the league are just now learning of these 2 players abilities?

The Jazz will do nothing. They will let Milsap walk and then sign Jefferson to some stupid contract that we will regret the second the ink is dry. Then OKC will do an interview saying what he was getting wasn't good value in return.

Yep. Always the same. Waiting, suggesting trades, hoping for changes, and NOTHING. The one time in recent memory they did do something big was trading Deron, and that was a shocker. But they did it, in a way, to maintain the current status quo...Jerry. Then when Jerry left we got the "next best" status quo...see how great that's turning out?

To be a Jazz fan is to learn to live with disappointment and train yourself not to get your hopes up. I know this and yet here I am, while at the same time losing interest / enthusiasm in watching the team.

Was it Jerry Sloan who said (and he may have been borrowing from someone else):

"If we start listening to the fans, soon will be sitting next to them."

Jerry does sit with the fans, so what was his point.

You got called a troll for saying that we play the vets to try and win games, not to shop them?

k?

Do you really think all those people listed think the fans were okay with that performance? The reason to call and complain is to alert management to something they probably don't know about. They already knew the team sucked on Monday and the fans were pissed.
