Not entirely Jazz-related but maybe some PG's available.
Also might be the end of the road for a great person who got the most out of the talent he had: Jeremy Evans. Time to take up painting full-time?

Jazz have waived Pollard and Mitrou-Long. No word yet (at least that I can find) on Bolomboy or O'Neale. Perhaps DL working the phones until the last possible moment.

Good catch, Should have included Felder's name. I doubt any other position is one of interest for the Jazz. Don't see any cuts as being better than O'Neale AND Bolomboy.
 
I don't know why guys like Jeremy Evans and Trey Burke don't just go play in China. They'd get treated like stars and could experience another culture. Instead they cling to an NBA dream that just isn't happening.

Hassan Whiteside has really ruined a lot of lives, because now all these kids think they can hang around and then make it big, like they just haven't been discovered yet. I feel bad for them, because there's nothing worse in life than watching your dreams slowly die while you give CPR to something you know is done.

This is Trey talking about adversity and how his faith has taken him a long way, and how he believes he can make the roster in NY. One of the hardest lessons to learn is that something you had faith in just wasn't meant to happen.
 
So we were wrong about the final cuts needing to be made so players can clear waivers by Monday. No such rule. I read a snippet on the Sun Sentinel. Clearing waivers by Monday seems to refer to players not guaranteed any money. However, since both Bolomboy and O'Neale are guaranteed for more than $50K, there is no financial implication for waiting until the roster deadline. At least that's how I interpret the below information.

The NBA's formal cutdown deadline in most seasons tends to be an artificial deadline. That might not be the case for the Miami Heat.

While Monday is the official deadline for teams to trim to the regular-season 15-player roster limit, most teams will complete their work by the 5 p.m. waiver call on Saturday, in order to avoid players sitting on their roster for the 48-hour waiver period when the 2017-18 pay calendar begins.

But with the Heat already above the salary cap but below the luxury tax, and with some players already guaranteed up to $50,000, there is no penalty for waiting.

All these are cut? Really? Some of these guys can play, at least a bit.
 
Two minutes silence for Derrick Williams.

And David Lee looked pretty good in the playoffs last year.

I thought Christian Wood was a reasonable prospect too.
 
Decent names on that list for some spot minutes. Some good insurance players to be had if the Jazz are looking.
