It's a fact that the NBA rewards teams that miss the playoffs on purpose to get higher draft picks? Is this why Sloan quit? Is this why CJ Miles gets so much playing time and clanked the Jazz out of the playoffs last year? Think about it. If the Jazz miss the playoffs don't they get the number 1 draft pick? Now that's temptation and it's bad for basketball.
No, if the Jazz miss the playoffs it is very unlikely that they will get a #1 pick.
