Can we keep KOC?

Stifle Tower

Punch Bowl Re-Filler
Hmmm...we were all screaming for some trades, if not blockbusters involving Harris and Jefferson or Millsap, then at least deals to get rid of CJ and some of the other vets (which would include Tinsley). All most wanted were just draft picks.

Yet here we sit, 4-0 since the trade deadline, with major contributions from CJ, Tinsley, Harris and a pretty solid effort from Big Al tonight.

So, does KOC still need to BeGone?

After this win, I'm fully on the playoff bandwagon, even knowing that we might have 0 picks this year (come on Curry!). I think the playoff experience these guys would get would be invaluable and would leave that taste in their mouth early on. I'm sure KOC could have pulled the trigger on something but seems to have made the right move. Hopefully, we'll see something at the draft.

KOC has done a good job. Anyone who disagrees with me has to go on a date with the Black Swordsman.

I'll give KOC a pass on trading Howard since they might have known he wouldn't have passed a physical.
I'd still take a good Al trade... any day.

I trust KOC 100%.

There are teams out there that go stagnant for a looong time after losing their star players. We lost our star coach and star player, and we're already in the playoff run, not even a full season since losing our coach and star.

He's a smart guy. He can make unpopular decisions, but sometimes the unpopular decisions are the correct decisions.

KOC is the arguably the best GM in the game. Anybody who thinks he sucks is a manic depressive 11 year old with extremely limited knowledge of the NBA and inverted *****.

KOC has done an unbelievable job.. Great value out of Deron, great drafts (Hayward, Burks, Kanter, Millsap). He decided to hold onto the deadweight, aka assets, to be best positioned on draft day. I'm way excited about this team. They're learning how to win close games, Burks looks fearless, Hayward makes incredible choices with the ball in his hands, and Favors is showing flashes of becoming a beast. Oh, and Mansap is a cold blooded assassin.

I've always defended KOC and I will continue to do so. He's done a fantastic job so far and I haven't seen anything that would demonstrate he will suddenly go crazy and start doing dumb ****.

Maybe the fact that the trade deadline passed and they all stayed on the team gave them confidence in themselves and what the Jazz organization is doing.
