Carlos Boozer's Point Guard Wins MVP

Completely ridiculous. A classic case of the media deciding on an outcome and a storyline a month in advance and the result becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.

"The Chicago-born point guard had a breakout third season, averaging 25 points, 7.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds. After a summer with the U.S. National team, Rose made a significant leap. "

09-10:49%FG, 27% 3PT, 76%FT, 3.7rpg, 6.0apg, 2.8 TO, 20.8ppg
10-11:44%FG, 33% 3PT, 86%FT, 4.1rpg, 7.7apg, 3.4 TO, 25.0ppg

Some slight improvement but shot a lower percentage. That is a "breakout" year?

Meh they are back in the mode of "best player on the best team" and the media crap kicky mentioned. Don't worry they will switch back to it being either ultra-hype (LeBron) or Career Achievement Award (Kobe, Malone, et al) soon enough.
