Yeah, I wanted Melo to work with Sloan and D-Will. That was back when Melo was really good with the Nuggets. I wouldn't want Melo now.
I know almost all Jazzfanz hate Mello, but he is a great player, and one of the few stars that doesn't need to dominate the ball.
ISO all day though right???
This was something I openly admitted to in the All-Time Draft threads.
Any chance we could sign him next year if we dont take on any big contracts? Dwill could talk him into coming to Utah to challenge Miami's Olympic trio, Utah then adds Tomic, giving them a skilled big man. Anyone like this? I know almost all Jazzfanz hate Mello, but he is a great player, and one of the few stars that doesn't need to dominate the ball.
There is a difference between what Melo was and what Melo is now.
Melo has to be that way with the scrubs he has on NY.
Playing with Love, Lowry, and Burks on my team he wouldn't need to be ball dominant.

if and that is a big IF he wouldn't be bad in our line up
Neto, burks, cotton
Hayward, burks, millsap
melo, hood, ingles
favors, booker, lyles
Gobert, pleiss, Garrett
Well that wasn't when this thread was made.
It was made when we had lost most everyone and were looking at a future of Al Jefferson. We would have to trade a lot of our draft picks, Hayward, and Jefferson, so we would have never gotten Hayward.
Our core would have been D-Will, Carmello, and Millsap.
I understand but he wants out of NY now and the Jazz want to begin winning more
I would be so upset if we signed that bum.
Edit: Oh damn, just noticed this was a 2010 thread. Still, tho.
