I wish I had watched more or read more about this case to comment but I didn't. I found it odd that her parents took off right after the verdict was read.

Murder 1 on circumstantial evidence is a huge stretch.

But she was also found not guilty of manslaughter and child abuse which tells me the jury didn't believe any part of the prosecution's case.
