Caucus

I went to my first one. It was pretty much a joke. 2 minutes to learn everything you can about the delegates you are gonna vote in to represent you at the convention. Paulites asking ridiculous questions about legalizing pot. Somehow the chairman elected was pro Ron Paul and Pro Hatch, despite the fact that by a show of hands most people there were anti-Hatch and pro-Romney. It was bizarre and a waste of time.

Why don't you get involved in the next one.
Then you can run the one after that, and run it.

I don't know if it will help with the voting. Why would the people vote for someone that does not represent their interests? I don't get that. My only guess is that people voted for someone they knew rather than voting for someone that will mirror what they would want to do.

I went, and it was crazy. It's better if more people come. We had a better turn out this time, but we still only had a small percentage of the people show up.

Bears beets Battlestar Gallatica

And March Madness beets caucuses where a bunch of people rant against Communism and make promises they'll never be able to complete.

And yet you have so many opinions about what's wrong with this country.
What's wrong with this country probably starts with you not going to your caucus meeting.

Several people within the T-Ville city organization suggested that I become a delegate. I think I'll pass on that action.

I'm sorry that you think that your tiny voice actually matters.

I am sorry that you think yours does not. The voice of the people is one of the most powerful forces there is. maybe not one voice but if that one voice speaks out maybe it encouragess other to join...

People?

What is people?

Those who vote? Those at the caucuses? Or those who have millions to contribute to campaign funds?

Careful now, remember, corporations are people too

Oh, okay.
You can go back to complaining about things and not doing anything about it to make things better.

If you're thinking you will not make a difference, then you don't participate, it's self fulfilling prophecy. Nice job.
