CBS Sports gives the Jazz pick of Kanter an F. Why? Because they didn't take Jimmer 3rd!

Ha, they gave the Bobcats an F too and called it "boring". I think Archie Moses has this right, F does stand for Fantastic, while the A stands for Absurd.

I think the writer needed to watch Sesame Street a couple more times, cause I don't think he knows the order of the alphabet.

Or, as we like to call 'em, sane folk.

Nah, they're just annoyed with their neighbors. They couldn't give a **** that Jimmer is actually that good, they just don't want their neighbor to say, "So, Jimmer is REALLY good, have you noticed?" one more time.

Sane? Far from it, U homers were one more Jimmermania day away from snapping and killing all Y fans.

Silly BYU and Ute fans. You know you guys are exactly alike most the time, just on the opposite end of the spectrum.

How does any of that change? If Jimmer succeeds in the NBA, like you say, BYU fans will still be able to lord that over U fans, regardless if he was playing for the Jazz or not.

That's not going to change just because his jersey says SACRAMENTO instead of UTAH. Likewise, I expect (and demand, haha) that U fans would constantly point out his pitfalls should he not succeed with the Kings.

With that said, my dislike of Jimmer has little to do with him being a member of the Cougars. I'm not entirely sold on his ability (truth be told, I'm not sold on anyone's in this draft) and I'm tired of the local media slobbering all over his *******. It gets old.

correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems to me that every year the 'experts' tell us what a great draft we've just had. hayward last year was probably the exception.

i can't be bothered looking it up but if i recall correctly the jazz were given pretty good marks on the day for all of the below draft performances:

2001 (lopez, collins)
2002 (borchardt)
2003 (pavlovic)
2004 (snyder, humphries)
2005 (d-will, cj miles)
2006 (brewer, sap, dee brown)
2007 (almond)
2008 (koufos)
2009 (maynor)

i suppose, in the end, draft day grades don't really count for much!!
