Dutch would have people believe that Antifa started the violence in Charlottesville. Yet, according to members of the clergy, who were there to oppose the message of hate by white nationalists and Neo Nazis, the Antifa actually protected those members of the clergy from harm by Unite the Right marchers. They did not start the violence at all. Here are some witness statements:

"I am a pastor in Charlottesville, and antifa saved my life twice on Saturday. Indeed, they saved many lives from psychological and physical violence—I believe the body count could have been much worse, as hard as that is to believe. but every other protest the counter protesters came. while the original right wing protestors where unarmed. they get beat up. and police was nowhere to be found. so sooner or later it will escalate. if the law is not protecting your right to free speech, you might have to take it in your own hand. you might not have known about all these other cases of violence because the mainstream media is complicit!

i am not looking at it as an isolated incident that is just shortsighted! so the first violence was from antifa during other marches and protest. and sadly it led to a scumbag driving over a person from the other side. this is just plane old tribalism

Does this also apply with other terrorist groups like ISIS, or maybe Islamic extremism? Cause I'll tell you right now I'm definitely anti both of those. How do you think the country would react if ISIS supporters held a rally in NYC? Would you blame the anti-ISIS protesters if violence broke out. Why or why not?

While obviously freedom of speech is important, and there's no way it's ever going away in America, it's a strawman and you all know it. This is not an issue of FOS as much as the apologists want it to be. This is about violent, domestic terrorists being put in a position to kill civilians because they have a permit. Even more so about our dumb **** president, who's just a little racist - not like white nationalist racist, is setting us back to post-Civil Rights America.

Is this reason enough to not support ANTIFA? I come from a country that doesn't have very good experiences with the hammer and the sickle, do I have permission to oppose groups who identifies with that ideology, or does that mean I'm automatically a Nazi?
