Chicago Draft Combine 2011

All this speculation is funny. I watched about 20 minutes for the PF's and I would just like to say that you can get absolutely nothing from the coverage ESPNU offers. Don't believe a word anyone says about Kanter's ability to run or make jump shots. You get 5 second glimpses of guys. Its completely worthless (and yet I couldn't takes my eyes off it! They got us all hooked.)

It's frustrating in that it's like trying to catch a glimpse of players thru the crack of a door. You only get to see what happens to get caught on camera at that moment. I was trying to peel an orange while watching but I didn't dare look away except when they cut to Andy Katz interviewing someone. During the Chard Ford quintuplets they'd jump randomly from prospect footage to talking heads that you really couldn't look away or you might miss something.

Yeah, I don't really get the decision in showing so much of the panel talking. Maybe if they had Victoria Secret models up there, but no one wants to see Chad FOrd's ugly mug.

According to ESPN's Chad Ford, Enes Kanter impressed general manager's at the combine with his impressive athleticism. He was reportedly more athletic than many expected him to be, and Ford goes on to say that fellow first-round prospects Kenneth Farried and Marshon Brooks looked good too. As for Kanter, this report should only add fuel to the fire that he's a serious candidate to be selected in the second overall slot. May 19, 2:38 PM

Sounds like Jimmer didn't do himself any favors today.

This could send him skyrocketing downward if this trend continues. He's got to have strong personal workouts for teams now.

Jimmer needs to do well in agility drills, something comparable to Chauncey Billups or Deron Williams. And doing a few dunks in the layup line wouldn't hurt either. He also needs to make some crisp lob passes in 3-on-3 drills and he'll be fine.

I really hope we get Kanter. I pray for it. Kicky, you better be right or I'm for sure going to kick your butt sometime.

WHAT? I like Faried, but how does a guy that can't shoot AT ALL or have anything resembling a passing, finesse, or really showing any skill on offense at all supposed to help a guy that demands space to do anything and crumbles when facing double-teams???

Yeah agree. Millsap's strength is his ability to play out on the floor or high post, hit jumpers and slash a bit.

Is Derrick Williams doing any drills? It wouldn't be a bad idea for him to show he can move as well as some of the SFs.
