A little red meat for the old timers - CP3 questions the legitimacy of Stockton's assist numbers.
CP whining about something... me (shocked face) maybe it’s that he played 20 damn seasons and played every damn game IDK.
If anything assists are now more lenient than they were in stocktons day.
Probably notWould Chrissy talk **** if Stockton were black?
Would Chrissy talk **** if Stockton were black?
I think it came from straightlines mind. Probably because cp3 is in 8th place meaning 7 guys have more assists than him but he only questions the accuracy of the stats of one of those 7 guys and that guy happens to be white.Where did that come from?
The question is would he have questioned the assists leader if it were a black guy? I don't think he would... but... then again maybe it was just an off-the-cuff comment and he meant it as a compliment since Stockton's numbers are so gaudy.
As a side note, I'm super glad Nash got 1 more assist than Marc Jackson. For some reason that makes me giddy.
What was his handling of it?I'm not sure if his handling of the Donald Sterling situation helps CP3's "Is he racist?" argument or hurts it.
Feel like it should be considered though.
What was his handling of it?
And, as someone mentioned in the Twitter thread, Stockton's home vs road assist #'s are comparable - 10.9 vs 10.1.
