This isn't a beer I've tried, nor one I intend to try, but it inspired me to start this thread.

Yep, those are bull ********* and they’re the headlining ingredient in Wynkoop’s new Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout, which the Denver brewpub is making specifically to pour during the Great American Beer Festival next week.

Here's a funny Buffalo Wild Wings commercial taking a jab at homebrewing.

So, what are some crazy beers you've tried?

A couple weeks ago out in the desert, I let some random hicks from Junction (as they called it) pour there habañero infused tomato juice into my beers. Not exactly weird or anything but that was some tasty stuff. I'm thinking a new hangover prevention additive will be in the works soon.

I've never been able to bring myself to put spicy tomato juice in a beer. A long time ago Salty recommended it and I decided I'd give it a try but I haven't seemed to get around to it.

Beer taste like skunk *** so Im sure Ive tried the skunk *** kind.

The first time I ever had beer it was Coors Light in a can. I got half way through and literally threw up. I decided it wasn't worth ever having another beer. I was 22 before I tried another and it was only at the insistence of my friend that had brewed his own. It was a cherry blossom infused stout. Dark and very rich. He chilled the beer to 60 degrees. I took a small taste to humor him and instantly fell in love. It was nothing compared to the swill that made me barf several years earlier.

The right beer can make all the difference in the world. I find myself drawn to Belgium brews. Grimbergen Dubbel is my favorite. Sadly, I can't find it in Utah and rarely get to savor it.

I love tomatoe juice and beer, always have. Been a while since I had an unusual beer. Last one would have been at the yard house in irvine, CA. They had a beer that tasted exactly like fruit loops, i think it was called Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat. Also tried a strawberry beer, Timmermans I think it was. Sweet beers aren't usually my thing, but it was fun to try something different.

I had a Super fruitty beer at the Wing Nutz tent at the Utes game against byu.

It literally tasted like pink lemonade with the tiniest bit of beerness to it. It was actually pink too. I don't remember what it was called.

I wouldn't seek it out again, but it definitely wasn't gross. Most fruitty beers make me gag, not because I'm too macho for it but because they literally taste terrible. This one tasted good, but in the same way that lemonade tastes good, not in a beer way at all.

I don't even care for a morning after bloody mary but this stuff was tasty. Had something to do with the habañero intensity, it's a different kind of heat. I hate tomatoes & doubt I'd like it many other peppers.

I've been thinking of bottling some with a few other additives to drink as a preventative nightcap but can't come up with a substitute for certain foods or pickle juice.

Not exactly crazy, but this coffee and cocoa infused stout tasted like someone emptied all the leftover beverages into one glass and then strained it through a dirty sock. I love Epic but sadly this $12 per bottle was an Epic fail.

I really love Epic too, but they have a few, and it's usually the most expensive ones, that just don't do it for me. Through them I've realized I'm not a big fan of Belgian beers, especially fruit flavored ones. Their Smoked and Oaked Belgian Ale is one my wife really liked. I didn't really care for it, though.

I've never gone very far of the farm as far as beer is concerned.

Corona, tecate (horribley vile stuff), bud lite, fat tire, blue moon, coors, sam adams, heniken...

I once grabbed a bunch of foreign beers (canadian one had the red leaf on the label, germany, swiss...) unfortunatly I do not remember the names.

I'm right there with you. I stay with their cheaper stuff now as their more expensive stuff just doesn't do it for me.

I had Jalepeno one in Vegas once that was pretty good. I stick to the dark stuff usually. Can't go wrong with a Guiness.

I know, what sort of crazy person would ever spend money on this stuff!?

Tried it once, thought it was meh.

Tons and tons of them. Had one that had a rattler from a rattle snake in it. When I have more time, I'll post more..
