I credit whores for a lot of things...but mostly STD's.
Yeah, when you are a cashier, managers always make you upsell. I never did if a manager was out of hearing range, but you are pretty much forced to if they are.

My wife is basically the Michael Jordan of signing people up for store credit. She has worked at 4 different retail establishments and has always gotten about 50% of that store's credit apps. Her stores are almost always the regional leader in credit apps due to her numbers, usually 5-6 a day. The store quotas vary, but she's about 10x what they expect of their employees.
