Hekate's case:

Hey, this is my case. Sorry, I couldn't focus on it much.

Don't worry that my doesn't have any primary scorers in my perimeter starting line-up. Tony Parker is a floor general that can create for others as well as himself but if things go south scoring-wise I have Isaiah Thomas and Joe Johnson that can come in and add the scoring punch.

Korver is an elite 3pt shooter. Demarre Carrols brings the defense and nasty while also stretching the floor with %36 3PT on 3.7 attempts.

The reason I don't have ball-dominant scorers on my starting line-up is to fully utilize Howard and Bosh combo. Bosh showed that he can be a complementary player and has expanded his range which will make Howard work better under the rim.

Bosh can also play center with Paul Millsap alongside Korver to give Parker more space to penetrate and operate.

Hekate just doesn't have near enough firepower to beat addictionary.

I am just gonna leave this here because Isaiah Thomas is vastly underrated.

I really like Hekate's depth. If he puts in place a good rotation I'd take his chances. Would be interesting to see how he would allocate minutes, though.

It's really a case of having a team with 1 super star VS a team of many SOLID players.

That's why it's so so tough to choose.

Addictionary has Durant so a slight edge in the starting lineup to him....

But when I look at the bench and I see Millsap & Johnson, they both can score & defend & bring vet presence, just too much experience in the 2nd unit.. they'll really make it hard for Durant to make up the difference.

Corvus has a floor general that I cannot match with. My basketball knowledge says that that is alone a winning factor. I would count on my shooting bigs to draw the opposite type dudes out, but there aren't really too much slashers in here. Durant is not bad but not an elite one with a length of 7 feet (Wow what a talent).

This team would do very good with shooting bigmen. But lacks the backcourt talent. Correction: Enough back court talent.

Uhh... are you just criticising your own team right now??? Why would you do that???!!!

Would a coach say to his player in a huddle: "Hey Durant bro - you're not elite - be sure to remember that!!!!!!!!"

*Mind Blown*

Very even match. I like hekate bench a lot better........ but end the end Durant tips the scales. Addictionary ftw

He voted against his team!!!!!!!!

Never count out the heart of a Champion, tbh, and Durant, to me, is one of those players that you should never count out.

This match-up is close and I don't think Addictionary should vote against his own team. It has a chance at winning IMO (if Durant catches fire).

Nah I still think my team is better. Just tried smth new here.

As for durant, search him. Look who opened the best player in the world's thread.

Hard to vote against Durant, but I just like Hekate's team better. I'd like it even more if Isaiah Thomas and Parker were starting out together in the backcourt and then Joe Johnson and Korver could come in with the 2nd unit. I think that Thomas is a great talent that gets overlooked because of his size.

I'd love to see what a Thomas, Parker, Carroll, Bosh and Howard lineup would play together. Bet Hornacek would love to coach that group. Especially with Johnson, Korver and Millsap coming in off the bench. Might be my favorite 8 man rotation. Talented and versatile. Can go small-ball and two big on you and be effective. IMO, he easily has the best trio of Bigs - Howard, Bosh and Millsap? That's just sick. I see a team that can pass well, get to the hoop, shoot well from outside, pound it inside and/or run P&R (if they can get Dwight on board.)
