I never said SexWalker was dumb. I just think SexHerro has a ton of untapped potential for marketing to... certain demographics out of state. It'd require production of... marketable materials out of state, but that's a minor inconvenience when it comes to the potential financial windfall.
It was an incredible string of tweets. I've always argued that every strike or lockout continually emphasizes this false dichotomy of players vs. owners and that's what the media drives. It's a binary proposition and you're supposed to identify with one side or the other. Ultimately, it's the fan absorbing all the costs. When players and owners and fighting over a small percentage of BRI, it doesn't matter who wins that fight because it's the fans that will foot the bill on either outcome. It's the electrician buying tickets to the game and buying a few beers, it's the single mom buying the jersey for her son, the guy jumping through all the hoops of league pass and trying to find out how to watch his team, etc. There's no representation for the fans in all of this because the media, and pretty much everyone, has you hooked on this players vs. owners debate.
Now with regard to KD, nobody cares about his disparaging view on fans. Aside from some maybe seeing this as being alienating, it's not viewed as privileged or offensive, or perhaps as ugly and disgusting as it would be in other contexts. Imagine a slight tweak in this scenario and pretend an owner makes a statement about players and says "players will just deal with it and be happy as usual." I'd imagine there'd be pretty credible calls for that owner to be expelled from the league. All this in a battle between millionaires and billionaires, as one of them is to supposedly assume the identity of the downtrodden. But here we just have a millionaire saying this about those living paycheck to paycheck, but it's apparently not laden with problematic social dynamics, at least not as much as a billionaire saying it about millionaires would be.

They definitely aren’t getting that from Miami. We can have Milwaukee supplement a first for us by sending them Sexton and they can have 3 firsts from us with KO/THT. Sounds good to me.
We have that many picks just in 2027. Can package them (obviously not all of the 2027 picks, but we have picks to spare) with Collins/Sexton?
