Darius Deserves Distinction Watch Thread

We drafted you, traded you away and here you are back with us and ballin'.

Of course we're giving props to Lofton as he's averaged 16 PPG in three games.

But let's not forget about Darius Bazley who is averaging 9.2 PPG on 60.7% shooting in five games with us.

Darius is filling up the stat sheets with rebounds, steals and blocks, showing some nice defense as well.

He looks good. Great defensive potential but hes one of those dudes who is an absolute klutz on offense.

We may have traded his draft rights, but he first bailed out on being the Stars’ #1 draft pick.

At one point he was guarding PG and they looked strikingly similar as far as size/movement

I really like the Jazz strategy of signing young guys with something to prove to these 3 year non-guaranteed contracts. Keep them hungry and see if a change of scenery and a new coaching staff can unlock something special in them.
