Day 1 Starting Lineup/depth chart as of right now? I can’t figure it out

Agreed that SloMo is more likely to start if he’s still on the team. I also think Keyonte starts at least to begin the season.

SloMo
Keyonte
Ace
Lauri
Kessler

I'm going to re-forecast my projected rotation.

Starting 5:

Walt
Keyonte or Brice
Ace
Lauri
Walker

Off the bench (in order of appearance):

Brice or Keyonte
Flip
Hendricks
Collier
Nurkic
Cody

Really don't think SloMo is here to play. He's the Patty Mills of this squad. He'll make his 11th / 12th man appearance alongside Harkless or some other bum. It's the full on youth movement with old man Lauri at the helm and I'm here for it.

We're gonna be real bad and real fun at the same time. I'm jacked! I'm jacked to the ****!

I actually think they can and will flip him.

Collier/Clayton Jr.
Keyonte/Brice
Ace/Cody
Lauri/Hendricks
Kessler/Flip/Nurk

This roster has a serious lack of passing and that makes it tough to try and put lineups together that will work.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Brice and Keyonte might be flipped

Alas, this is what we've been saying since the last core was blown up. And this is why I've asked (in other threads) about how likely/unlikely it is that Collier and WCJ can share the floor. This is a tank year, so I hope they experiment with it.

I'm not too turned off by the idea of Collier and WCJ as individual defenders, but you obviously need to surround them with length. Hardy can do that.

We also obviously need to see the so-called "secondary playmakers" step forward—Keyonte and Sensabaugh, in particular.

First Day:
Collier
George
Bailey
Markannen
Kessler

Walt
Sensabaugh
Cody Williams
Taylor Hendricks
Filipowski

Harkless
Tonje
Svi
Tshiebwe

- I'm guessing Anderson, Nurkic, and Love get bought out or re-directed. If not we keep 2/3 of them, and Harkless/Tshiebwe/Tonje get two-way contracts.
- I'm gonna guess that Keyonte gets the 3rd year jump -- and if he can push through that press, he may start at 1, they may move Bailey to the 2, and put Hendricks in the starting lineup.
- most interesting battle of the season will be between Walt and Collier.
- it's interesting looking at this roster -- so much of our talent was acquired through the draft. At this juncture we have only traded for Markannen and Kessler -- almost everyone else was acquired from the waiver-wire or through the draft. How far this team goes will really count on how many picks we nail.

- George

I'm starting to think that the Jazz will need to play Kyle Anderson significant minutes just to consistently get the ball to Walker, Lauri and Ace. I don't trust our guards to playmake, and I don't trust our shooters to pass the ball.

That would mean something like this:
1) Keyonte / Collier-Walt
2) Ace / Brice
3) Kyle / Cody
4) Lauri / Taylor
5) Walker / Flip
