Just bumped this instead of making a new thread. Depth chart without injuries

Keyonte/Collier
Bailey/Sensabaugh/Svi/Konchar
Markkanen/Cody Williams/ Vince Williams
Jackson JR/Filipowski
Kessler/Nurkic/Love/Landale

Landale, Love and Nurkic all expire next year. Vince Williams has a team option for this final year.

Jazz will likely bring back Nurkic if he isnt traded. So the Jazz will need to add two roster spots in 2026 assuming no other trades are made between now and the start of next season (which Im sure a trade will happen).

One of those spots will be the 2026 pick. The other can be the MLE.

I really think the Ainges love the idea of a high motor guy like Landale as a backup for Kessler. There wouldn't be any room for Nurk in that scenario.

Landale is getting traded to the Celtics or Rockets, book it.

Nurk doesn't exactly have a great track record of functioning as a backup. I mean this is a guy who once asked for a trade because his starting spot was taken by the best player on the planet (Jokic).

I presume he loves this season's high-profile hub role and would hate trying to cover for Kessler when he rests.

But who knows if Kessler will really be here.

I had Landale as someone I was intrigued as a bench big option for this free agency.

Don't know how realistic it is to keep Nurkic with a pitch of "so, we're paying you 19m and playing you 30 plus minutes every night, but our offer for your to stay is around a third of your current salary at best and 15 minutes every game".

Nurkic can face reality or be disappointed. No one is giving him any kind of money to be a starter.
