They don't care as long as it keeps making money to fuel Ryan's other hobbies. Pretty clear they don't care. They wasted almost all the assets they got from the Mitchell and Gobert trades. We never hear anything from Ainge anymore. Crickets while we descend into permanent mediocrity is pretty telling. There is still a draft lottery and teams jump up frequently, in fact more teams have jumped to #1 from pretty much every position than worst place. There are also ways to improve the team outside of getting extremely lucky in the draft.

I dont. But I think we are more likely to move up in the draft winning a handful of games and being closer to play in than we are blantanly tanking and making the league look bad and pissing them off. That isnt likely to be a #1 pick since it never has been and likely never will be, but we can get a 2,3,4th once in awhile. Well I guess we did get the #1 pick once, but the league took it away in one of the most blantant disregard for any team ever.
