What's new

After the Bears game went to overtime, I decided to just watch this game on replay.

- That was a bad Key game until it wasn't. His mental game has maybe grown the most this year, just so much more resilient.
- Collier with the huge 4th quarter. He puts so much pressure on the paint.
- Despite the box score, I thought this was a really encouraging Cody game. He played good defense and tried to be involved on offense. The almost dunk was an aggressive/explosive move. And then the best mentality sign was him missing that 3 badly and being willing to shoot again immediately after.
- Kevin Love is having too good of a stretch right now. For the tanks sake he needs to stop it or get traded.

Said it before and I will say it again. Key is at his best in the most pressure and heavily guarded.
Watching the game last night when the jazz were inbounding the ball prior to the big key shot and I was standing up by TV (I always pace in a game like that) and I put my finger on key and told my wife he is the guy that needs to take the shot.
Now it's kind of obvious right now because Lauri is out and key has been phenomenal this season but I would have said the same thing last season at the end of a close game like that while he was sharing the court with Lauri, sexton, and collins or whoever.
Key is made for those moments.

I watched last night's game and I am still pissed at the old Jazz FO for drafting Azubuike when Desmond Bane was such an obvious match for the Jazz. That has to go down as one of the worst picks by the Jazz.

This is the one thing that Donovan didnt fully have, especially his last couple of years with the Jazz, he wasn’t super clutch.

Clutch is typically random yeat to year. You can't find many players that have consistently high (relative) percentage year to year

You fingered Key in front of your wife? Nice.
