What's new

Ded Man Cometh

Excited to see Dante on the court. I can't imagine the mental hurdle that he is facing. I hope he stays healthy, but if not, I would not blame him for giving up basketball and finding some way to spend his life (and $40+ million) that is more rewarding & meaningful .

If Exum and Mudiay cant coexist I don't see how Exum gets any minutes.
They need to play together. I can see it now, just constant headlong drives to the basket followed by contested Iayups and mid range jumpers with nary a pass to be seen.

Snyder will find a way to stagger minutes and make it work. It's going to open more options with another threat to get to the rim, as well as allow a little more rest for our starters.
More versatility is never a bad thing.
Agreed. It's a good thing that he is healthy

C'mon mate I don't believe that. Have you seen the hate for dante. Though I wish you were right. Cause the guy has had terrible luck.
I think it's not hate, just people being upset. Upset that they rooted for the kid, convinced themselves that, "he just needs to get healthy". The months turned into years and frustration. People no longer buy the, "he just needs to be healthy" line anymore.

It's just people keep getting their hope up and time and time again they are let down.

You can only "cry wolf" so much.

more on Dante's rebounding.....

35 career games where he played at least 5 minutes and didn't grab a single rebound. That is about 20% of the games.

9 career games where he played at least 20 minutes without a rebound. The crème de la crème was a 35 minute outing with 0 rebounds, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 3 turnovers while shooting 5-12. Amazingly he did shoot 5-10 on three pointers that game.
