i seem to recall the Admiral repeatedly disappearing in the playoffs and in particular getting completely crushed by Malone far more than Timmy did ?

Timmy never beat Malone in the playoffs, whether it was with the Jazz or with LA
 
I think Duncan is better than both Malone and Robinson. But they're all top players, and I can see why some would disagree.

My bet is if Malone had started his career with Robinson as his counterpart and on a team that was just one season removed from the playoffs and still mostly intact history may have played out differently.
