I will definitely miss Williams. Was he an *******? Sure. Maybe. Who knows. What I do know is that losing ate him up inside. He was ours. I hope he succeeds wherever he goes....
 
Going to miss Deron. Might have not been the best leader, but he was our best player without question. Nothing like watching Deron get into a zone either. Burying crossover, step back, 3's in defenders faces is always fun to watch.

Good luck Deron! I'll always be a big fan.
 
After moving out of state, I kinda lost track of the team for a couple of years. Deron brought me back and made it fun to watch Jazz basketball again. I was amazed at how this very young player (at the time) always seemed so in control. He's lost a bit of that over the past couple of years, but I can't help but think it's the way the pieces around him have changed. I hope he turns the Nets around and finishes his career there (in Brooklyn).
 
Yeah yeah, thanks Deron. You won us some games, you played hard on the court, and you showed me that we picked the better player between you and Christina Paul.

How does that saying go, "If you love something, set it free...if it comes back to you, it was meant to be"?

Who knows, maybe after a 4-5 years, when you're playing for your 4th team, you can come back to us and play with our superstar Derrick Favors and back up our newer younger more talented PG and DHarris on our 2nd run to the Finals in two years... til then... happy traaaaails tooooo youuuu!
 
Deron was the reason I was excited to be a Jazz fan again after Stockton and Malone went away. Now I'm looking for a new face of this franchise. Just hoping to hell it's not Greggy boy with his SILLY SHAKESPEARE mustache.


Thanks Deron, for reading Jazzfanz and letting this appreciation thread really hit home.
 
Great player. 3rd best we have ever had. Pissy and petulant whiner, but still great player. Wish he coulda been a leader. GL DWill, but Im still convinced good move by Jazz.
 
Deron, you are a testy dickhead, one who was sure to leave us for greener pastures.

That said, even my senile parents know you are (at your best) a ****ing amazing basketball player. You got me back into the NBA when I happened to stumble upon the first game vs. the Rockets in the playoffs back in '07. You blew me (and the Rockets) away.

Hope you can get back to form, since kicking *** in November you haven't been yourself.

I will cheer for you anywhere you are, as long as we don't have that teams draft picks that year.
