I just got done looking at D. Favors picture on ESPN's ranking crap they're doing. I said to myself, "if he could gain 10-15 pounds, he could be deadly" at center or PF. Then I see he's been hitting the weights. Good news! I looked at his stats over the summer in comparison to Dwight Howard's, and they are comparable considering his playing time. Dwight started at PF when he came into the league and then made the transition to Center. Favors weighs 5 pounds more than Dwight in his rookie years, and Favor's measurements and stats are right on par with Howard's. Here are their post-allstar stats of their rookie seasons per 36. Let's commit to Favors and get him the minutes he needs.
DH: 15.5, 11.2, 1.1 ast, 1.2 st., 1.9 blk, 2.5 TO, 3.4 fls (33.7 actual minutes)
DF: 14.75, 9.4, 1.4 ast, .9 st., 2.15 blk, 1.8 TO, 5.2 fls (20.2 actual minutes)
