Maybe we will miss him more than we think.
And now I'll brace myself to get flamed by all the triggered anti-advanced-stats people here.
I think any all encompassing defensive statistic that puts Favors/Mitchell Robinson/Jones Jr/Nurkic/Kleber as a top 5 list is a flawed statistic.
I think this is pretty much the peak of missing him unless Gobert misses a ton of games.I bet we will miss Favors more than people anticipate.

Ehh, nah. Gobert was the better defender against traditional bigs.Or plays against heavier centers.
Listen we were better with Jae on the floor than Favors.

That's literally the purpose of playing defense though lol, followed by if they're going to make a shot lets make sure it's not a high value shot (e.g. long 2s).It doesn't claim to be all-encompassing, just looking at another aspect of defense (getting your opponent to miss his shot). Some might even say it's important.

Not true in 2018-19. According to B-ball reference:
Favors: +5.1 plus-minus when on court / 100 possessions, +0.1 net plus-minus / 100 possessions
Crowder: +4.1, -2.8 respectively
Nope: you hadn't qualified it that way in the original statement.
It's true that Favors wasn't the best PF match for Gobert. (In fact, he was the worst, though the Jazz still had a solid +/- with him and Gobert together.)
I'm Happy. You're the ball.according to this:

I mean it wasn't obvious. It was just an incorrect statement. By your same standard we were better with Favors on the court than Gobert. Since we had a better rating with Favors and the other starters than with Gobert. Favors was better than Jae in most lineups except if they played with a non shooting PG and non shooting other big. That's pretty specific.Sort of thought it was obvious but fair enough.
Favors played more minutes behind Gobert than with Gobert. Crowder played more minutes with Gobert than Favors did... actually almost twice as many. That’s with Gobert?

Either way our team is not only better but more suited to Snyder offensively.
I wish we could have this team and Favors but that wasn't possible. Also Favors health is a big concern. Much more of a concern than Exums.
