Royce O’Neale will reportedly be staying with the Utah Jazz for the next four years.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reported on Sunday morning that O’Neale and the Jazz have agreed to a four-year, $36 million extension that will begin next season.

He would have become a restricted free agent this summer.

The Baylor product joined the Jazz in training camp in 2017 but wasn’t assured of a roster spot. Now in his third season, he has become the team’s most important perimeter defender and an excellent catch-and-shoot 3-pointer.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
