My sister recommended this show called Detroiters to me. Its a sitcom. I watched the first few episodes and thought it was dumb. I kept watching anyways. I have watched 13 episodes now and I have to say its one of the best comedies of all time. Its still really dumb, but it is also hilarious.

Give a try but make sure to watch at least 4 episodes before you decide whether you like it or not. It gets better and better the more you watch. I haven't laughed this much from a tv show in many years.

Sounds like the lead up for Community. Community is one of the all-time great sitcoms but it takes a few episodes to hit it's stride but then they present some of the greatest half hour episodes ever put on tv. I'll give this one a go.

Its still getting even funnier. Its moving up my list of all time greats.

I will describe one scene:
So the characters on the show work for a small time Ad agency. They haven't been able to afford insurance for the employees for a long time so the people haven't been to the doctor in decades. They finally are able to afford insurance for the employees (the reason they can afford insurance now is quite funny but I wont get into that) and so they all go to the doctor. One of the employees named Sheila is quite old. We are talking US president old (she is probably in her 80's). The conversation between Sheila and the doctor goes something like this:
Doctor: "well ma'am, everything seems to have checked out ok. Do you have any questions for me?"
Sheila: "Well doctor, im worried I may be pregnant. My period is quite late."
Doctor: "Ma'am, you cant get pregnant."
Sheila: "Tell me about it, my mother would kill me!"

There is a female cop on the show that always makes horrible jokes about police violence and planting evidence on people and what not. She is probably my favorite character but she isn't on the show that much. One scene she threatens a dude by saying "I will turn my body cam off and whoop your ***" and the dude says "you're not even wearing a body cam" and she simply says "oops"

Its made by Lorne Michaels (SNL) and Jason Sudeikas (Ted Lasso) and has some pretty good cameos in it too. (Jason Sudeikas is in multiple episodes)
