....the starters 4th quarter point differential?

This is getting absurd with Ty yanking the 2nd unit after closing the gap and leaving a winnable game in the 4th only to have the starters dig themselves the same hole they dug themselves initially.

I feel like I spend all this time watching the game for Burks or kanter play. I almost immediately want to shut off the tv when I see Harris or miles.

Ha I just had the same thought. The only thing worse than these loses is watching them happen with players I care absolutely nothing about playing.

Coach Ty is losing on purpose while building the youngsters confidence. If the Jazz start winning these games, there goes the draft pick. Jazz just need effort from the youngsters and a serious influx of young talent this summer and next. I say keep it up Ty!

This might be the most agreeable thread of the year. I too only want to see Kanter, Burks, Favors and Hayward succeed. I don't mind watching Millsap (of January that is) but everyone else that starts can go. If you play for the Jazz and you have more that 5 years experience that I wish you well. That list does exclude Watson, Millsap and occasionally Tinsley.

It's interesting to see that some people feel the EXACTLY the same as me. I've been watching only the youngsters for almost a month.

Edit: I have to admit, I sometimes watch only prodigy's highlights.

ive always liked watching Josh Howard even in his Mavs day, but with his past month's showing, you gotta include him in the list with harris and cj

So, I guess nobody knows where to source the statistics the OP is asking for?

Thank, NAOS......I sincerely am interested to see those stats. I honestly have no idea where to find specialized statistics like that. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems, especially of late, that what happened last night isn't an aberration. The second unit closes gaps on defense and most importantly hustle and willingness to win, only to have the 1st unit come in and put a stop to any of that nonsense.

Now, I will grant you that our second unit is typically going against the opposing teams second unit, BUT when you hand off the game to the starters with whats been whittled down to a single digit margin and then they come in with the same lack of hustle that got us in a double digit hole, something has to change no?

you are right, this isn't an aberration. And, you are right, that **** has got to change. Getting rid of Jefferson is a good step in the right direction.
