According to Tony Jones, Donovan will be playing point this season and Mike will play off ball with the starters and then be the primary ball handler with the second unit. I think it's a great move, we all knew Donovan was going to be a point guard eventually so why wait.

An incredibly novel idea... wish I had thought of this two years ago before we made a huge move that changed the construction of the team... oh wait.

It would make more sense to have a 6’8” guy, who’s cheaper, and shoots threes better, be your off ball guy. Why have a 6’0” guy off ball?
I feel like Locke has said Conley was one of the higher catch and shoot guys in the league so not the worst thing ever, obviously hindsight is 20/20. It’ll be nice to have his handling skills in the second unit, Joe turns over balls a lot. I still think we move him by the deadline tho.

It’s a start and we know Mitchell will flourish at PG. Still holding out hope for a Conley trade.

Really, it shouldn't matter what you call them. All of our guys should be capable of operating with and without the ball. But Mitchell and Ingles have been unwilling to play without the ball.
