Dutch Speedskating Coach hates America but is a Utah Jazz fan!!!

In response to the original question — did he think that the American’s suits were partially to blame for their loss — Anema responded, “We have found something that makes the suit very fast. It’s the man in the suit.”

Excellent. Those American speedskaters were crybabies.

is he BALD?
does he have a bad *** beard like johny hendricks?

if the answer to both those q's is YES>
then it is most probably ME!

*Kind of a Jazz fan. Sounds like his teams use the skating infrastructure around here from time-to-time and go to Jazz games because they are sick of hanging out at malls and Temple Square. He hates Trey Burke.

Wow, that was quite the interview. Very entertaining even though that American guy was being such a jerk. The Utah Jazz comment was just after the 6:00 mark, if anyone wants to jump to that.

The coach completely clowned the Americans.

"Tell us one other sport you're good at"?? Umm, didn't the Dutch make it to the most recent FIFA World Cup Finals, and lose in extra-time?

Pretty huge measure of success right there. Idiots.

I agree with the the Dutch coach. Football and Basketball (mainly) taught as the best sports ever for kids to play. There are many sports that get neglected such as tennis, and like he said speed skating.

Haha, sounds like a pretty awesome dude. I enjoyed the interview, but...he's your typical European.

They really just don't like America and are going to go out of their way to talk about us and how much better they are. Most American's don't give a **** about them, and it pisses them off. They know that overall, America is better, and it drives them nuts.

I love how Europeans always act like we're the arrogant ones...and we are, but they are far, far worse. They always know everything, they're always right, and they look down on anybody who's a little bit different than them.

Which sports are more entertaining, which sports has more athletes in it, and which sports get you the most money?

Football, basketball, baseball and soccer.

That's why those sports are more popular, and not speed skating.

It's all about your perspective. I feel like I get more stupid while I watch Baseball, I also find Football pretty idiotic when players just keep going out to get concussions. I just think there should be more opportunities for other sports then just wasting our athletes in those other ones.

There are plenty of opportunities. You think the kids don't choose which sports they want to play? C'mon...

Perhaps you feel more stupid for watching baseball, but lots of people enjoy it. It actually is a thinking-mans sport, so maybe that says something about you?

The same people who bash on the Americans for the violence of football are typically the same people who enjoy rugby. I'm not sure why you think there aren't more opportunities, but you're wrong. America is never going to have a system like Europe does where we ship 13 year olds off to soccer schools so that they do nothing but soccer and a little bit of school. Perhaps it is actually other countries where there are less opportunities for sports. They have to be in clubs, that they pay for, to play sports...in America we typically have the opportunity to play most sports (but not all) in our schools, yet we're the ones with less opportunities? ********.

Parents obviously factor into it and the stigma that you'll be popular if you play these sports.

Well I obviously don't follow baseball and don't know exactly how it works, but they just stand there... I respect peoples opinions on their sports, mostly because tennis gets a lot of hate.
