Earl Watson is better at playing basketball than Devin Harris

Argue amongst yourselves about it if you like but I'm comfortable with my conclusion.

Dude just happens to be 1 of 5 guys on the court. Sure as **** isn't a point styled guard. Earl, at the very least, looks to run some version of an offensive set.

I think Harris just has to develop better chemistry with the team. It will hopefully come, but yeah, Watson's controlled style does look nice when everything around him is sloppy and poorly executed.

I've been saying this on these boards all along. With all the youngins' we have on our team, what we need is a cool/calm head at the helm. Harris is just too erratic, he doesn't seem to run any plays properly.

and the TURNOVERSSSSS!

Thought it was awesome how watson huddled our four young guys together when he got in the game and told them what was up. I think we will do wonders for their development.

I can see why they didn't re-sign Ronnie Price, Devin Harris has basically the same game. I'm sure he has talent, after all he's been an all star and stuff, but the Jazz had better have a passing 2guard on the floor with him, because Harris's passing skills are mediocre at best.

Fortunately they have 2 1/2 of them in Burks, Hayward, and CJ.

lol @ blaming devin when you should be blaming the crap coach for crap coaching and the crap gm for crap job in putting together a team that fits.

Wrong delivery. Having said that, I agree that you can't blame Harris for this pre-season game. Guys not moving on offense, lost really.

Now .. Devin needs to attack better, increase his court vision, and find the open man. IMO, (though I am certain you know his game better than I do) this plays to his strong suit. Devin is not a prototypical PG, but has the tools to be a top 5 lead guard in the NBA .. but he has to embrace a specific role, specific to his abilities.

Earl might actually be better. Was not impressed with Harris in the least tonight, but, I think over the course of a season he'll come out on top.

I don't think it's a silly question though, Watson has a lot to offer.

I was never one to be on the Jimmer hype train, but if he pans out at all, he would have really fit the needs of this team. Or Kemba, or Knight. We should have drafted a PG.

So we should have taken Jimmer #3? He, as well as Kemba and Knight, were all gone by #12. I can't say I agree with this at all.

Not necessarily, but I'm sure we could have traded down 3 or 4 spots, picked up some assets, and had our pick of any of the three. What I am sure of is that we have no business having another big prospect on our team. Kanter may turn out to be great, but it will be in three years of ugly, unwatchable basketball with Harris at the point.

I really want Harris to succeed but I get the feeling watching & listening to him that he really doesn’t care. Like it’s a job, and he likes the paycheck so he’ll show up like he’s supposed to. But really he’d rather be doing something else, so not a bid thing if things aren’t going well. Anyone else ever get that vibe?

He does seem like he isn't putting forth a superstar effort.
